I know we all like both of them but which do you prefer the most? For me I got to go with tv. the reason is that I think tv is more about the characters were movies are more about the story. I do like how movie's have more time to tell a story than a average ep but I think story and character's arc make up for that missing time.

I also think sci-fi usually works better on tv. Star Trek has always been better on tv than at the movie's. The reason is because if you won't do something that is a little different or wierd you have a better chance getting it done on tv than at the movie's.

Television. Movies are great but I was raised a TV junkie, so the small screen is my addiction. I can hold off going to the movies but I need a constant stream of TV to stay sane.

I prefer movies watched at home on a TV.

Stuff produced for TV often has constraints such as lower budgets, and artificial climaxes in the story to lead into commercial breaks.

Seems like more chances are taken for tv shows than in movies, probably because of the money spent, so there are more innovative ideas tried in subject matter, for instance. I only go to movie theaters to see things like dinosaurs and big space battles. And if my son talks me into a Power Ranger movie with promises of huge monster fights. (which didn't happen) Also, if I don't like a tv show I'm not out 20 bucks and I don't have to listen to little kids bawl through a tv show. So I prefer tv I guess.

Up until about the late 2000's I would say film or television any day. But the last few years I feel like television has been better than film. So I guess it depends on the era.

Both are good. TV can go into further detail while you can escape in a movie for a few hours somewhere to forget the day. If I had to choose one or the other, TV can show more of a thing longer.

I think popular television has been much better than popular film, but I think there's been films on the artsy side at least as good as the TV.

Just, the really good films right now are dense and challenging whereas the really good TV is accessible enough to veg to.

It really depends on what I'm watching. Some stories are better suited to TV, while others are better for Movies.
