Series 10 trailer

Is the woman saying "exterminate" a human form dalek?

Sure seems that way. I've wanted some follow-up to the Dalek nanites from "Asylum of the Daleks," though I assumed there wouldn't ever be since they're a complete game-changer. (IE., any character the Doctor meets is potentially a humaniform Dalek. All the Daleks have to do is infect a planet's atmosphere with nanites and they'll convert the entire planet into bipedal Daleks.)

And once you have that, who needs the old metal pepperpots anymore? In the words of the First Doctor, the mutation that put you in the mobile tank in the first place will have 'come full circle' - and then some. If Davros had thought that through, and channeled the Doctor's regeneration energy in 'The Witch's Familiar' into that - regenerating all the classic Daleks into self-repairing humaniform - they would be truly unstoppable.

Seems a bit like SG1's replicators...

More like Borg nanites if deployed by air rather than direct contact with an assimilation tubule. And then somehow turned a humanoid being into a shape-shifter of sorts.

I realized it was a cute visual, but the eyestalk growing out of a person's forehead was a bit unrealistic. :)

I think she says kitchen. It was much easier to understand in the trailer that was attached to the end of Doctor Mysterio at Christmas.
The caption subtitles agree with you. Though she says similar "Get In!" at :19. Is that a common expression? I've never heard it before.

Trailer #2 is out.

I really hope they don't have the Mondasian Cybermen marching, because that looks like that's a possibility in the trailer.

Looks like we get a hint at the regeneration, which may mean it happens sooner than we expected. If that's true, then it's a damn shame they revealed that in the trailer.

A regeneration before Christmas makes sense, though. Moffat won't be repeating the mistake of "The Time of the Doctor," where he had to cram all of the build-up in to a single episode. A June regeneration would let Moffat lay the groundwork all season long so it's the logical outcome of the larger story he's telling.

I'll be sad to see Capaldi go in June, but if this is how it is I'm okay with it.

Yeah, after both 10 and 11 regenerating at Christmas, it would be nice to have a pre-Christmas Special regeneration, even if it means we're getting one less Capaldi episode then expected.

As for the trailer, I liked it. It was short, but intriguing. I can't wait for Series 10 to start.
