I'm starting to wonder if we're being lead in the direction of the crown being passed to Eleanor somehow - there was definitely some subtext for that this week, that she's probably come through the current season the most well-balanced. That said, I'm looking forward to King Robert if that happens - he's the perfect mix of his fathers charm and his mothers manipulation.

And where the heck is Willhemina given she's supposed to be a season regular? We've not seen her since Robert arrived back on the scene and they decided that Kate was a better match for Liam (which she isn't)
 
It's already been confirmed at the weekend.

Yup - it's going to be interesting next year.
 
I still wonder if they're going to find some dirt on him - and force him to abdicate, allowing Liam to ascend to the throne. Part of me is wondering if Robert wasn't partly behind Simon's murder after he told him he didn't think he'd be a good monarch. If there's more scandal to emerge, is that the direction that it's going to come from.

I'd also like them to bring in the Duchess of Essex now that Cyrus has been demoted to his former rank as she was a good contrast to Helena, and an interesting ally for Cyrus. And upgrade Sebastian to regular alongside Wilhemina.
 
I think that Robert set it all up. Daddy said he wasn't fit to be king and he was going to disband the monarchy. So Robert put the "hit" out on himself and Dad. That's why he needed to stay on the island and couldn't come home immediately.

That much is pretty obvious from the super villain music accompanying his victory smirks. :)

Liam is a dunce.

Eleanor or Helena are much more interesting choices, even if Helena doesn't have the bloodline to full out the position.
