But I was wondering... If I recall correctly, there was a point where the Cold Equations trilogy was going to be the last set of novels released by Pocket Books. Where you planning on ending the last novel differently, if it was indeed going to be the end of the Pocket Books Treklit universe? And if so, are you allowed to share some of the different endings you might have been planning?
I ask this, because I'm rereading these right now, and everytime I read them I notice how it seems as if you're setting up for Picard to step down as captain, Worf being able to get his own command, things like that. And it made me curious if you had roads planned that were not taken.
