I'd buy some.

Maybe he should copy Horizon, it has almost twice as many YouTube views as Axanar, accumulated in 1/3 the time, perhaps even more impressive in light of the huge publicly boost Axanar received from the trial.
It always makes me smile whenever I type 'Star Trek' into YouTube and it always comes up in the top three.
In other words, Tommy Kraft WORKED on his project and released it - as opposed the Alec Peters paradigm of talking about your project for YEARS, but doing no real work on or for the actual project beyond fundraising, which you then use to live on.
^^^
As long as Alec Peters does the above - which I don't see ending anytime soon. All we'll ever see of Axanar are the verbal descriptions from Alec Peters. ;)
To be fair Tommy Kraft did have one advantage over Alec Peters, he had talent.
I'd buy some.
You would! ;)

If you are interested busts of Kharn only go for $300 plus postage and packaging.

(Note to moderator, I am commenting on an advert I have seen today, I am not soliciting funds. And even if I were what idiot would actually buy this).

the fan edit is fantastic. the greatness of the Prelude film with no Peters humbly accepting praise from the pros for saving the universe but the REAL Garth as a silent participant is..powerful stuff (we all know what happened to him)

The Redux achieved something I didn't think possible, I watched Prelude again. And ouch, hitting Peters where it hurts, right in the vanity. It will, of course, be held up as evidence that every critic is simply someone who has a problem with Peters, though.

And I have to say, and I'm sorry for the timing of this, but on second viewing Richard Hatch turns in a fairly weak performance as a hardened Klingon warrior. His diction is perfect and he clearly enjoys rolling in the cadence of each word he says but overall I felt it was just a set of lines read very nicely by a guy wearing Chris Plummers get-up from Star Trek VI. Sorry.

I am still staring at the irony tripledecker of
  • "king-of-fans-says-he-can-do-it-better-so-no-IP-limits" issuing a takedown on an earnest emulator when it applies to the king's work,
  • basing that takedown on rights the king has agreed in court that he does not have,
  • and the king having to face evidence that the "better better" version is the one without the king.
Its Tampaxanar meets culture jamming meets campaign dirty tricks.
