If you want to see some really bad SF then watch Zontar, The Thing From Venus.
I liked "The Lights of Zetar" as a kid but find it a little lacking in interest as I grow older. I wish they would have cut back a little on the love story aspect and delved a little deeper into Lt. Romaine's struggle to keep her individual identity against the collective mind of the Zetarians. Just as the crew struggled to bring Picard back from the Borg collective, Scotty could have noticed the small changes in Mira's behavior (things only a lover would notice) and brought it to Kirk's attention that something's wrong which would have lead to Spock running his sensor scans to identify the problem. Instead of zooming in and out of Mira's eyes, during the final confrontation, she could have shed a single tear (like Picard did) as she struggled to beat the Zetarians long enough to be put in the chamber. A reaction shot from James Doohan would have been priceless as he sees that tear and picks her up to place in the chamber.
My own feeling about worst TOS episode would be "The Way to Eden." I don't care if one of them was an ambassdor's son. They stole a shuttlecraft and shouldn't have been allowed to have free run of the ship without some sort of supervision. They should have never gotten as far as they did by taking over Auxillary Control. That reflected poorly on the Captain just as badly as not being able to detect the fake Enterprise mock up in "The Mark of Gideon."

Turnabout Intruder--Shatner Chewing up the dialog, sets, scenery, I do like Shatner's emoting (one really can't call it acting) but this was so much over the top, I cringe every time I see it (which isn't often as I'm just not capable of handling it like i could as a kid)
Miri -- "Bonk! Bonk! on the head!" need I say more?
but every Trek stinker is still a gem compared to the worst from other shows of the period..

Out of those 3 episodes it's hard to decide which one is the biggest stinker, but I would have to say ATCSL makes me cringe the most. Miri is a very close second.

But..it has "The Hoff!".. I actually own this film, it just lends itself to riffin' over a few beers.
Very respectfully disagree, but I know a lot of people don't like this episode. That's okay because most of us have our list of most disliked episodes, including moi.

There was something quite hilarious about Christopher Plummer's dignified gravitas as The Emperor in the midst of all the cheesy silliness. How did he ever wind up acting in this turkey?

Did you know that Caroline Munro was the "first choice" to play "Vampirella" in the ill fated, never to be made Hammer Film? Peter Cushing was slated to play her mentor Pendragon, a genuine wizard posing as a stage illusionist. There exist photos of Cushing thumbing through an issue of the old Warren Magazine comic and he even doodled a portrait of his intended role in a copy of the script (maybe an "outline").
Munro declined and so the studio approached former PlayBoy centerfold Barbara Leigh. Alas, the production company closed its doors soon afterwards, but some of the publicity photo taken of Leigh eventually served as covers for the comic.

Sorry people...After watching some more episodes, i had to change my vote to " I, Mudd". It's way worse than Mudd's women, it's boring and feels cheap
But again, the only redeeming factor are the women!
The teaser is interesting, but after that it turns into pure schlock.
