1/350 TOS Enterprise - Production Version

I was playing around with some of the large resolution, untouched images of my 1/350 Enterprise build that I had stored away on my hard drive and wanted to share them. Most of what I did involved resizing, cropping the edges, and removing the stand tube. Hope you guys like them.

Looks fantastic! Did you use Polar Lights lighting kit or do your own thing?

I have zero experience with lighting so I think I might order the light kit when I get around to building mine. But yours is so nice I'd love know what you did.

I did use the Plolar Lights light kit; however I redid the LEDs for the bussards using different colors. I also added a surface mount LED to the dome atop the bridge and behind the rear wall of the shuttle bay to light up the gallery on that wall.
I would also recommend getting the ParaGrafix photo-etch if you haven't ordered it already. Among other things It includes frames for the shuttle bay galleries and overhead screen frames and control consoles for the bridge which works well for lighting if you use the clear bridge part from the kit. You also get PE 1/350 scale crewmen and shadow casters which can be trimmed to cast shadows of figures behind window ports.

Here's a link to my build thread over on Hobby Talk if you're interested in what I did:

What a clever idea! A "flip lid" bridge dome sensor array!

That way, you can have the production style illuminated dome, but also view the interior!

Crewman Jones: "Duh... I wonder wut dis butt'n does?"

* Click *

3 seconds later, the entire bridge staff was tragically blown into vacuum. :crazy:
