Personally, I'd like to see DS9 stories that take place during the timeline of the series.

I feel that way about all the series.

At least we have TOS.

We only allow one account per person here. Why the new account?

I didn't know there was a one account per person rule--apart from the standard netiquette discussion board rule of not holding conversations with sock puppets.

My reason was to use my own name (something I haven't been doing on the Internet since the mid-90's) because I hope to write/publish more than my current 10,000-word offering. On an existing account, one can't change one's user name. Basically, I'm switching from one account to the other rather than using two simultaneously.

I still have those Blish Novels, I remember going downtown to the only Book store when I was a teen I'm 53 now, I would ride the Bus and Look for the latest Novel, Lay down my $75 - $1.25 Hard earned Paper route money for the latest adventures of the Enterprise.

You can add me to the list of name changes (noting it's one account replacing another), though I never made any kind of a splash under my previous account. I'd posted more on the StarTrek.com website (until they removed discussion boards) and on IMDB.

I'll just shut the other account. No need to have it as a name change; you can just go forward with this.
