So, I received a Christmas package from my parents in Arizona, containing a gag gift they found at a swap meet out there, but I actually kind of like. It's a foot long plastic model of the 1701-D (Of course they thought of me when they saw it lol)
Anyhow, the package was correctly addressed to me from them, luckily containing all the contents they'd sent, but somehow there was a postal mishap, & there was an additional sticker on it, which read "Repackaged at Pittsburg NDC, Warrendale PA".
Most importantly, there were also additional items in the box, 2 soft packages wrapped in Christmas paper & ribbons, & each had a stick-on Christmas tag meant for 2 people I don't know. After confirming with my parents, I found they weren't accidentally sent to me by them. It was clearly a mix-up at the postal facility. They mistakenly added the contents of another postal package to mine.
I decided to open them, figuring that if it was terribly important or personal, I could rewrap them myself. I found they were just children's size shirts, sent to a couple kids from their "Aunt Kay". I doubt the original package was addressed to these 2 kids, & I can't even assume Aunt Kay's full name is Kay. I really got nothing to go on except the location it was repackaged. Should I bother doing anything, or is it really just a lost cause? (Lord knows these kids really aren't missing out on much by not getting these shirts, except acknowledgement from their Aunt Kay) lol
