TNG on Australian Netflix (a question)

Logopolis

Commander
Red Shirt
Apologies if this has come up a lot but I couldn't find a thread for this specific question. I've decided to do a full TNG re-watch in the lead-up to Discovery next year. Of course, I began with Encounter at Farpoint last night and was impressed with the clarity. Was I watching the remastered version or has the pre-remastered versions simply aged that well? I couldn't tell in areas.

Any Aussie Netflix subscribers know which version that's available on the service?

Not an Aussie.. and Google doesn't seem to hold a direct answer.. perhaps this will help, and you can compare to what you see on Netflix.. I dunno if it is all inclusive of the differences.. But it may be a start.

List of differences between TNG and TNG-R

Happy to help - it lists most of the changes, at least major ones, with screen captures of each change where possible. I believe it is remastered here in the USA - so I would hazard a guess that it is for you as well. Unless it looks like you are watching grainy VHS (from what I have read) it is remastered.

See if the energy feeding the creature is coming from the right spot.

Yep, just checked then. It is indeed the remastered versions. I went back to look at the end of Farpoint to see the jellyfish and it's cobalt blue, not the blue-grey of the original. This will make my re-watch of the series all the more enjoyable. Stoked!
