Horrifically I'm afraid not.

Judging by that list of stuff they don't want LGBTQs, foreigners, to help the poor, and non-christians. So... it looks like a large group of us in January are not wanted in our own country.:(

This is still our country. Remember, we have lost only one presidential popular vote since George the First in 1988. That's 28 years.

Like it or not, the election determined by popular vote. I don't mean that as way to insult you, or a way of bragging or anything like that.

That's cold comfort for some of us. I'm already dealing with a lot of shit, now the GOP wants to make it a lot worse. It's really not enough to know they hate us, but knowing that half the country is perfectly fine with it really makes it worse. Now they want to me not worry about them and what they've said they're going to do.

We lost the popular vote in 2004, Bush vs. Kerry.

I was watching Bill Maher. He equated our country to a roommate situation where the two roommates hate each other, where they barely acknowledge the other exists, where they are not interested in learning about the other.

I was listening to Michael Moore. He believes that the Republican-led government will pass a sweeping amount of bills which will alter Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and so on in the first 10 days. He believes it will take us years to recover. I know this is possible for I have read of it happening in the past. There was a sweeping amount of bills passed in 1933 after FDR became president in the first 100 days.

On the whole, the right is not conciliatory to the left. They will leave the left out in the cold as they pass bills which change the country to their vision. They have done this on the state level.

I believe what ThankQ was saying was that since 1988, Republicans have only won the popular vote once, in 2004. I was going to say this, then I read the post a second time.

That is what I meant to say. I'm sorry if was vague or unclear.

I'm too tired to respond in any adequate way but here goes Obama I suspect is an atheist or agnostic no sincere Christian should or can vote democrat,

Legalizing gay marriage, advocating crossgenderism, supporting Abortion, among other gross sins.
You know what, on second thought you can go back to ignoring our questions and not responding if it is going to be hateful rhetoric. I know Trump's election has emboldened bigots to think they're the mainstream majority in this country, but they're not. You're free to share your opinions on Trump and the election and Democrats, but I'm not going to allow you to call protected and vulnerable classes of people in the LGBT community "gross" and "sinners" just because they were born a different way than you. Take that shit elsewhere. You get a free pass this time but don't do it again or you will get warned. You're entitled to whatever messed up bigoted thoughts you have in your own home or on other boards and social media, but there is going be a modicum of decency in these discussions.

Furthermore, you are profoundly ignorant of facts and reality. You want to know who a huge block of Christian Democrats are? The vast majority of black people and more then half of Hispanic people in this country, not to mention lots of white people and Asians and others. Get educated, because you're embarrassing yourself.

A few fundamental questions: Has Trump worked - really worked - a day in his life? How long can he sit still during a briefing? How long can he pay attention during any meeting or briefing? How much does he read? How well can he hold his temper when criticised? How well does he listen to counsel, if he listens at all?

I'm not pulling these questions out of thin air. He's answered them all during his campaign. All of the answers are to the negative. Now he's taken on the most difficult, demanding job on the planet as the most ill-suited person for the job.

I'll make popcorn. The flame-out should be spectacular.

Yeah, the reason I check them is because I get a notification for each comment on one of my videos. Admittingly, I do get some insightful comments, it may be a ratio of 1:10 (that may even be an understatement), but they do exist.
"Insightful" comments on football video entitled "high school football fights?" :wtf:

I think a lot of the unfair exaggerations about Trump in the media during the election garnered him some support. So, you don't think there is a single person that is less qualified for the presidency than Trump?

How many times have you tolerated my "tubby arms" jokes? If you can survive me, republicans ain't shit.
I'm not worried about words. I'm worried about the actual laws they want to pass and already have in some states. If I were open I could be fired in my state and have no legal defense. The GOP wants to get rid of the laws in any state that does make that illegal. I'm worried about being assaulted by bigots, something that happens all the time and in my town I really doubt the police would care.
