As the Awesome Possum just said, the decision should be made by a woman and her physician. I would hope that, in some circumstances, the opinion of the potential baby's father would also be considered, but that are plenty of situations in which that would be inappropriate.

Newt Gingrich wants new House Un-American Activities Committee

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is calling for the creation of a new House Committee on Un-American Activities, invoking the infamous "Red Scare"-era congressional body as a blueprint for weeding out American ISIS adherents and sympathizers.

"We originally created the House Un-American Activities Committee to go after Nazis," he said during an appearance on "Fox and Friends" this week. "We passed several laws in 1938 and 1939 to go after Nazis and we made it illegal to help the Nazis. We're going to presently have to go take the similar steps here."
Gingrich, a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, has been touted as a potential running mate for the presumptive Republican nominee.

His comments on Monday echoed Trump's, as the billionaire businessman suggested "Muslim communities" should be held to greater account for the actions of their neighbors.

"They know what is going on," Trump said during a speech Monday in New Hampshire. "They know that (the Orlando killer) was bad. They knew the people in San Bernardino were bad. But you know what, they didn't turn them in, and we had death and destruction."

The House Un-American Activities Committee was founded on the eve of World War II but gained greater notoriety a decade later as it launched a series of investigations into alleged communist elements inside the U.S. government and other aspects of U.S. society.

Holy shit, this is fucking scary. C'mon, conservative posters, this isn't just a support your team issue. This should scare the living hell out of everyone. This is Gingrich and Trump's own words expressing their intentions, not liberals making up nasty lies. It doesn't matter whether they can implement it in the end, this is what they want to do, which should be disqualifying in itself. People on both sides of the political spectrum need to speak out against this while we still can.

They've gotten over million views combined, as a result, I get a lot of comments on them. Youtube comment sections are like the wild, wild west. That word is used everywhere and it's very offensive. But people keep dropping it like it's a normal word. Gaming videos for example especially where people get riled up quite easily.

So yeah it happens more then you know on there with no regulation.

I mention earlier that the right has their media, for many of them do not trust the "Establishment Media". Here is one of their sources about this incident, Breitbart. (Breitbart is important in this context as Trump has enlisted the aid of Stephen Bannon, who was a former executive at Breitbart.)

There is talk of Stephen Bannon being Trump's chief of staff.

When news broke yesterday of the Russian government having contacts with the Trump campaign, there was no mention of this at FoxNews, Breitbart, Daily Caller, and Red State. (Trump trusts these sources.) In a break from tradition, the White House Pool was given limited coverage of the President-elect. It is becoming apparent that this coming administration will be getting its news from the right and will trust the right news media and grant them exclusive access. The left news media will have limited or no access to this administration.

There is an effort underway to make the electors vote with the popular vote. It has passed in thirteen states. It is called the National Popular Vote. The Republican platform called for the end of this movement.

Let us remind ourselves of the Republican platform, for there is a chance part, some, or all of it may be enacted. What are the fifty items? The Raw Deal listed the fifty items.
