So....Trump rushed off the stage by Secret Service because someone had a gun at his rally. Okay, two reactions:

1) Bravo to the Secret Service. They do their job well. And despite Trump being a truly despicable person who has said some despicable things, and despite him likely being a terrible president, I don't want to see ANY public figure, no matter WHO they are, get shot. I've heard some democrats say these things about Trump and I always shut them down. I don't care if Trump is terrible. Don't shoot him. Let's not have that shit in this country ever again.

2) I need to read the articles and gather all the facts about the incident, but didn't Trump WANT guns at his rallies? Didn't he say once that nowhere was safer than a Trump rally because everyone was armed?

EDIT: Okay, so apparently the guy was not armed. Someone in the crowd shouted "gun!"

Sigh.....Tuesday needs to get here. Fast.

Saw it after I posted, was going to edit mine but the phone rang. Just now got back to it.

Saw the video.

Then found the guy's brother posting how the guy was "beaten by the mob."

He was briefly put on the floor by security, handcuffed, and fast walked away. After a short investigation he was released. Where did this beating by the mob take place?

My prediction, which hasn't changed much in the past month.

FBI: Hillary Email Decision Hasn’t Changed

FBI Director James Comey said in a letter to members of Congress on Sunday that the bureau reviewed all emails to and from Hillary Clinton found on Anthony Weiner's laptop and found nothing in them that changes his conclusion in July that Clinton did not commit a crime.

Comey rocked the presidential campaign when he informed Congress, just 11 days before the election, that the FBI found emails "pertient" to its closed investigation into Clinton's private server on a computer belonging to Weiner, estranged husband of Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Comey wrote Sunday what the investigation found:

"Since my letter, the FBI investigative team worked around the clock to process and review a large volume of emails from a device obtained in an unrelated criminal investigation. During that process, we reviewed all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State. We have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July with respect to Secretary Clinton.”

Brian Fallon, Clinton’s campaign press secretary, responded to the news on Twitter: “We were always confident nothing would cause the July decision to be revisited. Now Director Comey has confirmed it.”

Following Comey's letter, Trump rose in the polls and Clinton declined slightly, though she retook a modest lead by this weekend.

Probably too little, too late after all the damage he caused, but it's still good to have the truth out there... again.

I think it's going to be a 2-point race in your state or even closer. Hillary, I think, will squeak out a victory but it's not going to be called very quickly on Tuesday night. She can do it. I think she will. Democrats say her ground game in Ohio will be better than Trump's.

Depends on where they're focusing. Around here, it's all Trump: signs, banners, billboards, flyers, commercials, buttons, bumper stickers, flags, shirts, jackets, raffles, and more.

On a local facebook page, it's all Trump sloganeering, and if there are any Hillary supporters aside from myself, I'm not aware of it.

I think they're focusing heavily on Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati when it comes to mobilizing turnout. Small-town and rural Ohio is traditionally red anyways. My state's the same. Outside of Roanoke much of this corner of Virginia is deep red except for Montgomery County (the Virginia Tech campus and younger and more academic and professional voters).

True. Maybe Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland can save Ohio from itself.
