What?! Where did you get that from?

No, during one of the early GOP primary debates, Trump said: "I gave to many people. With Hillary Clinton I said be at my wedding, and she came to my wedding. She had no choice because I gave."

Well, Donald, that absolutely was money well spent.

Oh, shoot, I misread your post! Ugh. I think I'll go delete my comment. (Yeah, I know it'll still be here as a quote, but... oh well.)

Logic dictates he has no path for victory. He's done and he knows it. Emotion tells me he could still win. Logically, I feel confident. Emotionally, I feel scared.
The electorate is not logical. The People vote against health care, believe magic is better than science, and women vote to deny other women control over their own bodies.

It's just that I've watched the last few elections in the US and US politics seem a lot rougher and more dirty then elections over here, and the election cycle is longer.

Just this particular one seems a bit on the bizarre side compared to the last two elections you guys have had.

In some ways, politics has gotten less civil in the US over the course of my lifetime. Vulgarity and spin-doctoring becoming a more highly refined "art" are two obvious ways in which it has. However, in others---keep in mind that my lifetime includes a sitting President resigning in disgrace to avoid conviction of high crimes and misdemeanors because he was in fact guilty---in other ways, it's really never reached that bottom since, despite dipping down towards it twice (Iran-Contra & Monicagate).

edit - Actually, Iran-Contra was worse than I indicated. It was better than Watergate in that Reagan didn't resign, but it was a case of the Administration breaking the law in numerous immoral ways that left blood on the US's hands. That's not something that can be said of Monicagate, but it's something in common with Watergate if you factor in the implications involving the Vietnam War.

Yeah the whole thing with Bill Clinton was a low point but not as low as Nixon, and hopefully nothing that bad happens ever again.

Remember "only Nixon could go to China"

So Baby Boy threw another tantrum today. The debates are "rigged" and he's "done."

He's such a fucking caricature of stupidity itself, I swear.

Well if he now says "he's done" well bow out of the race. I don't think he will though..

BTW howcome for you guys the election cycle is so much longer then in our country?

Of course he won't bow out of the race. He doesn't want to let his "tremendous support" down. But (for now, anyway....it could change in a few days) he doesn't want to do another debate.

He'll lose. FiveThirtyEight has an electoral map which shows what the electoral vote count looks like if only women voted in the election. Hillary wins 458 -80. That is an insurmountable gap in the female vote. McCain had this problem in 2008...ergo Sarah Palin. It didn't help him. And somehow (I wonder how?) Trump is worse.

And now Ohio is slipping away from him.

So on election night, we'll get to hear him say how Crooked Hillary rigged the election. Bet your paycheck on it.
