Characters meeting each other

Wouldn't be surprised if Sloan investigated Garak and came to the conclusion that he was in the best interest in the Federation.

Kira and Ro: Ro would tell Kira that she's a sellout and Kira wouldn't know what to say, in fact she would probably agree with her and be ashamed.

Kira seems like she might feel resentment toward Bajorans who sat out the Occupation on safe Federation worlds instead of fighting the Cardassians.

Tom Paris and Nick Locarno. ;)

My frustration is that the times where we actually did see a great potential match up-
Kirk & Picard
Scotty & Geordi
Spock & Data
Spock & Picard
Janeway & Picard
Kirk & Sisko

The conversation really did not happen- they just chatted a bit or discussed what was needed for the plot.

You mean like... homozygous cousins? :D
The "identical cousins" character is a staple of soap operas.

The Kirk/Sisko wasn't even in keeping with the actual plot of "The Trouble With Tribbles." That Kirk/Sisko scene was taken from "Mirror, Mirror" and they deleted Marlena's character and inserted Sisko. It would have been hilarious if they'd kept on with the dialogue between Kirk and Spock, where they discuss the "young lady" and Kirk refers to her as a "nice, likable girl."

I always thought Tuvok and Odo would get along really well.
I can see it now: Star Trek: The Odd Couples. Premise: Tuvok, Neelix, Odo, and Quark find themselves stranded on 21st century Earth and to save on expenses (and be safer in this backward century), they all move into the same apartment. Hilarity and much bellowing from Odo ensues.

Don't Patty and Cathy (I think that was their names) predate those two?

It looks like you're right. I never saw that show, though, hence my mistake. I guess I am like the people assuming that the first interracial kiss was Kirk and Uhura in Plato's stepchildren, even though it wasn't even the second, or the third.

They'd get along well by both not saying a word. ;)

Neelix/Quark might be kind of interesting.

I 'm having trouble deciding how their encounter would go. Two people of similar backgrounds with very different perspectives on the Federation. It'd probably start with Quark trying to scam Neelix, Neelix catching on and having fun with it, then culminate in a debate about Federation values, followed by Neelix trying to sell him DQ inspired holosuite adventures.

Well, yeah, but we didn't get to see it.

Another one: Data (as Holmes?) vs Redjac

We know that Redjac could migrate from on humanoid body to another at will and even inside a computer. So it seems like Data could have been the recipient of Recjac's conscience. We saw that in several episodes already, the Schizoid Man and Masks, off the top of my head.
