Endgame was erased.

Kim might be a Captain in the new timeline that we never saw, but he would have become a Captain much sooner "probably" which means that it is more likely that the USS Rhode Island would have been unavailable than not when Kim was looking for an unseated command to pick up.
SPOILER!
In the relaunch books, Harry will be promoted to lieutenant, he'll be the new Chief of Security on Voyager and will split up with Libby (after she refuses to marry him ) ...

think consent is implied if you own the animal
Animals that people own, if they aren't spade or neutered, aren't getting the kind(s) of dating pools they'd draw from in The Wilds. It can become difficult ... they may end up becoming resentful. Options of Last Resort that would be deemed undesirable in The Natural Kingdom, suddenly become the only choice they're presented with. And that's no fun. Me mum owned a cat once named Milford.

He said, "'F' this being on short rations shite. I'll find my own mates." So, he turned into an Alley Cat and, on occasion, a neighbor would come to the house, knock on the door and present us with a cardboard box filled-to-bursting with kittens that looked exactly like Milford. I was 8, at the time, I would try to deny that it was our cat's fault, but mum flung me round behind her and apologised profusely, for our cat's not shooting blanks ...

Oh that's hilarious.

I thought soornge was talking about bestiality and frakes thinks soornge is talking about animal husbandry... I probably need to apologise.

The bestiality wasn't even being described in STAR TREK terms, like the Professor and Nancy The Salt Creature, in TOS. What else could I have done, but reboot? Crewman Darnell proved to be a randy scoundrel, following Blonde Pleasure Planet Nancy off into the bushes, when there were orders to follow and work to be done ...

Was he discovered wearing his trousers?

In Caretaker, after Janeway told them how long it was going to take them all to get home, can you imagine all the 71 year long marriage pacts being drawn up?

The 90s... Wait, the token gay cop from NYPD Blue? Back when it was "Wow! There's a gay guy on TV and he's not the villain of the week! My god that's evolved! I'm living in the future!" ...That guy, is he Buzz from Major Crimes?

Nope.

However holistically, NYPD Blue's Detective John Irving played by Bill Brochtrup has until recently been playing Rusty's psychiatrist Dr. Joe Bowman on Major Crimes.

I had thunk that I was being ageist again, or that I was atemporally disconnected from reality, because there has to be at least 20 years between these two actors birth dates... Bill is three years older than Phil.

John wasn't a detective in NYPD blue, he was a PAA. There was at least one lesbian detective, maybe two. Between that and Arthur Fancy, NYPD Blue was probably the most progressive thing on TV alongside Star Trek. I think it's something of the positive mood of the time that Fancy and Sisko are there, front and centre. And NYPD Blue regularly worked on racism stories. In many ways it's a perfect companion piece to DS9.
We have gone somewhat backwards, or there's a marketing angle in continuing to trumpet minority status on characters, making it a 'thing' rather than just one of many things.

I am surprised that so few of the Voyager crew seemed to have any kind of relationship back home....the Doctor gets more of that kind of development than anybody else, and he's only just been born, metaphorically speaking.

As far as relationships back home, Janeway had Mark, Harry had Libby, Samantha had a husband, Tuvok had a wife. Carey had a wife.
Tom just got out of prison. Chakotay had an awkward thing with Seska. That really just leaves B'Elanna as the only person from the Delta Quadrant among the main cast that was free and single before they left.

Doesn't that also leave Tom free and single. He never mentioned having any official relationship

That's why I specified free and single. Tom was in prison until the day he left the Alpha Quadrant. He wasn't in much of a position to have had a relationship at that point. Tom was single but he wasn't free. I mean, I suppose he could've had a relationship in prison, but he didn't, and it seems pretty reasonable to me that he didn't.

Time and Again.

PARIS: You're making a big mistake. Can't you see what's going to happen? We're the only humans out here, Harry. People are going to start pairing off, and if we don't get to the Delany sisters in Stellar Cartography soon, somebody else will.
KIM: I've got a girl back home.
PARIS: So what? I've got five.
KIM: I plan on seeing mine again.
PARIS: Harry, Harry, Harry, Harry, Harry. You really think she's going to wait for you?
KIM: I hope so.

He's been in prison for a year?

It was a unisexual prison?

5 Prisoners are his girlfriends?

(Or... )

5 Psycho's on the outside, hot for convict ass, only started "dating" Tom because he was in the big house?

(Or... )

A liiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle of column A, and a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle of column B.

I never said Tom was celibate in prison lol but whatever happened doesn't seem to have developed into a relationship.
I'm absolutely sure there is sexy Tom in prison fan fic out there somewhere.
Probably not in a unisex prison though :P

LOL, I just always took that to mean that he slept around, wheter it was in or out of prison.

Yeah, that's how I took it. Tom was promiscuous. He probably was doing a few fellow prisoners. and had lots of women on the outside that were waiting on him, all without any commitment or emotional attachment on his part.

I don't think he overly promiscuous personally. We saw him coming onto women but nothing much ever came of it. However, if you read Pathways, which was written by Jeri Taylor (and whether that is canon or not is an ongoing debate) Tom comes across as a sex addict, at least that's how I interpreted it.

I think he was more of a flirt than anything else. It has been many years since I read Pathways but I don't remember thinking he was a sex addict. Didn't he have a fiance or a very serious girlfriend who was killed in the accident in Pathways?

True, but there was a time right after he was kicked out of Starfleet when he was using sex as a drug. It wasn't much more than a chapter. I just remember that was how he dealt with his nightmares and flashbacks. It was kind of depressing.
