Meanwhile, today Trump called combat vets with PTSD weak. No, he didn't use the word, but he contrasted them with vets who are "strong." This from the man who appears to have been traumatized by a microphone. I'm not a vet, but I do have PTSD, and, yeah, I'm taking this one kind of personally. @#$%^#$%^&
And I think FINALLY after all the stupid stuff he has said, this one will hurt him because veteran's groups are pissed..

HERNDON, Virginia — Donald Trump is drawing scorn from veterans' groups after he suggested that soldiers who suffer from mental health issues might not be as strong as those who don't.

Trump was speaking at an event organized by the Retired American Warriors political action committee Monday when he was asked about his commitment to faith-based programs aimed at preventing suicides and helping soldiers suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and other issues.

"When you talk about the mental health problems — when people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over, and you're strong and you can handle it. But a lot of people can't handle it," he said.

"And they see horror stories. They see events that you couldn't see in a movie, nobody would believe it," he added...

He should have lost the veteran's vote the moment he mocked John McCain's service. This should be a nice reminder of why he doesn't deserve their support.

Has Trump seen any military service, or service of any kind?

Eat me, draft dodger. If wounded vets suffering from traumatic emotional disorders can't earn any of your meager sympathy then you don't deserve even the votes of white trash alcoholics in trailer parks.

No kidding. No matter what you think of him as a politician, John McCain flew into the middle of the city of Hanoi to bomb a power station in the face of some of the best air defenses in the world. Despite getting a warning that radar was locking on him, he stayed on the run, dropped his bombs and got hit with a missile. I would so love it if somebody would ask Trump what McCain should have done, specifically, to not get captured.

John McCain is a hero. Donald Trump is a zero.

Donald Trump is an American hero.

After bravely suffering through draft-deferring bone spurs in whatever foot he says it was today (or both!), he was awarded the Purple Heart by a veteran and dismissed it like it was trivial, because that's the kind of man he is.

He courageously participated in propaganda campaigns with Soviet veterans and Nazi reenactors, completely unthinking of his own well-being. I can not stress enough how unthinking he was.

He alone was willing to call out American troops for stealing money in Iraq, without evidence, jurisdiction, anyone's request that he do so, or any kind of actual significant problem that needed to be addressed, because integrity means that much to him.

Using simple terms someone on his level could understand, he explained how "We don't win at the military anymore. Our military should win all the wars. I do not like those Mexicans. I do not like them Don I am" in a bold new plan to strengthen what is by far the world's most powerful military.

He selflessly gave up other people's money in his self-titled Foundation's name (which he doesn't donate to) to veterans charities after reporters noticed he had forgotten to keep his promises, on account of all the good work for veterans he does taking up all his free time, see?

Then of course there are these shell-shock inducing biographical anecdotes about his time in military school before he rotated back to the world, or his years spent getting serviced:

Last year Trump told a biographer that he “always felt like I had been in the military” because of his time at the New York Military Academy, an expensive military-themed boarding school where Trump’s parents sent him because of behavioral problems.

Trump compared his sex life in the 1980s to a war experience.
“I’ve been so lucky in terms of that whole world. It is a dangerous world out there – it’s scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam era. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave soldier,” Trump bloviated.

So, yeah, he's more than qualified to judge John McCain's status as a hero. Who cares about fighting Vietcong coming out of the trees when you have to fight VD coming out of their whatevers?

He survived being on The Apprentice for so many years. The man's an asshole but anybody would deserve a medal for putting up with Gary Busey's theories on endocrine systems for that long.

How will Trump supporters and voters react if either of these things happen?

1. Trump in office turns out just like all the other past Presidents and nothing really changes.
2. Trump loses the election.

What would be the reaction in either situation?

If elected, Trump would be also the second president with a Razzie Award for Worst Actor.

George W. Bush got one in 2004 for Fahrenheit 9/11, Donald Trump for Ghosts Can't Do It (1990).

True story.

It's a tough call. I'd like to say Hillary Clinton will win, mostly because I'm Hillary Clinton, but I just can't seem to pull away from my old friend Donald.

It's very strange because all the little people are supposed to love me and I can lock up the minority vote without lifting a finger.

Still a country that is 65% white and 65% Christian. You still have to capture a sizable portion of the White/Christian vote in order to win.
