Movies I've seen in 2016 that were better than
Suicide Squad:
- Zootopia
- Finding Dory
- Deadpool
- Don't Breathe
- Star Trek Beyond
- Sausage Party
This is not counting films from previous years that I saw for the first time this year. Most of those were better, too.
I believe I said before that even BvS was better, because at least that film was trying to say something (for its first half, anyway).
Suicide Squad is a paper-thin bonanza of cheap CGI nonsense without a brain in its head. I'd say it's a video game but I actually
like video games.
I just have to ask: Do you have a problem with other people liking this movie?
Because, of course, you're entitled not to like it, and you're entitled to express that opinion. But you didn't just express your opinion, you
replied to someone who said they liked it. And it's not a matter of fact, but of taste, so it's not like "You are wrong" is a viable reply.
It's also not like you haven't made your opinion known before, you have done so repeatedly.
There's really not any new information in your post even about your opinion. On the other hand, there's new information in
@Snick27 's post, since he says he likes the movie a lot even after repeated viewings.
Now, you posting your opinion, even repeatedly, is okay. But you replied to a specific post, as if you made a counter-argument, in a matter that was, as I said, of taste and not of fact. That does make me wonder what your motivation was here. Are you somehow pissed that other people like a movie, even after repeated viewings, that you didn't like at all? If not (entirely possible),
what was your motivation there?
