Excessive Criticism of "STAR TREK VOYAGER"

This would mean that the phage is an epidemic disease and therefore it's strange that after two millennia there are still people that haven't been infected by the disease. The epidemic should be either eradicated or it should have reached everyone. The situation as described in simply impossible.

It mutates a lot, it's one mean mother.

The bigger question is why the Phage didn't infect everyone else, but the easy answer is because they didn't want it to take over the entire series.

Well, the vidiians seem to be experts in medicine and at the same time complete idiots. I guess it's the best we can expect from people (the writers) who are as lazy as they are ignorant.

You can be experts at something without being super-geniuses. This is just Voyager being singled out for abuse again when plenty of other Trek aliens fall apart upon analysis too.

Voyager is only singled out because it happens much more often on Voyager than on any other start trek show.

That's fairly typical. You can be an expert in your particular area but not know anyting else. I think we all know people in real life, for example, that have tons of book smarts but have no common sense.

There are plenty of illiterates without an ounce of common sense.

True. In this particular instance we are talking about people who have a lot of knowledge in one specific area but lack knowledge in another. That is not uncommon

Well, they had two thousand years to explore every avenue. One would think they would have done a thorough job.

Just to clarify, when you say they are idiots, what do you mean by that. To me they seemed intelligent..misguided and desperate but they didn't seem like idiots
