The captain is a big fan of beach volley but there's this organian that keeps making fun of him, because of his inferiority and all that. So the captain bet he's gonna beat the organian at beach volley. The captain and his team get their asses kicked by the organain who can move the ball with his mind but the captain and his team decide to laugh it off and pretend that they won anyway. The organian leaves in a ball of light that gives everyone a sunburn...

Too bad they forgot to do a global change - Human to Humanoid. That poor Binar delegation.
It took me a few times through to make it out, but in the background comm chatter, someone's saying, "Red light, green light," when they're all captivated by the Gorns' big moment.
The sub-plot involving Lt. Jaimie Teresa Kirk and her pending gender reassignment was very interesting. I wonder if they're resurrect her .. er.. his character in later incarnations of Trek?
They had this Character say that he knew Archer very well, but why was he then shunned by the others? That was never explained.
And it was the patent for Velcro. Using Velcro as the pass-the-torch character was brilliant.
The blowholes were a bit much. Though amusing.
At least we know now why the Ferengi were studied by the cetacean institute...
There's one thing I WISH they'd cut. While I'm sure they still do it in the future, I really don't think we had to actually see the captain rubbing one out in the ready room. It was too far.
I think, it was daring to put a blind guy as weapon's officer.... Sounds familiar though...
I was surprised they used time travel. Still, bringing those humpback whales back from ST4 was pretty cool. And who knew they joined starfleet? Lt. and Ensign Humpback. Nice touch .

I'm so glad that they aren't no longer constrained by the stupid Networks censorship and finally we had the occasion to see a realistic polyamorous interspecies BDSM LBGTQ relationship between the three/four crew members (I'm not about the number because of that/those bizarre alien/s. Anyone can help me here?). Loved the Orion-slaves-market-conquered-by-the-gay-leathered-Klingons roleplay scene. It was so realistic! Roddenberry would be so proud.
