So What Are you Reading?: Generations

Moved on to Sin City by Max Collins. Another one I haven't read since it first came out, but it's all ringing a bell.

I finished Star Trek: Legacies: Best Defense by David Mack.
I'm now reading Star Trek: Legacies: Purgatory's Key by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore.

Chasing the Lantern by Jonathan Burgess. It's a pirate novel (with airships) that I think I got as a freebie ebook sometime ago. So far, it's entertaining enough.

I am finally reading the Titan series. I'm on The Red King. It's a lot better than I expected. I was advised to skip them but then I was also advised to skip the 'A Time To... Series' and they were ok (except for Wesley's girlfriend. I was never so happy to see a character...go away).

It's all good because I am finally getting caught up.

Yes I mean Disavowed By David Mack My Cat tried to jump on my computer keyboard before I could change my Post , He wanted his dinner asap.I still can't wait to read control when it comes out next year.:rommie: I also finished reading Enterprise Rosetta by Dave Stern. I really enjoyed reading this book again.

Just finished ENT: Surak's Soul. not as good as the two preceding novels, but still great.

A Bee In Her Bonnet by Jennifer Beckstrand (about to read, anyway)

There's a LOL moment at the end of the book.
This Amish woman character (who left the Amish and came back later) names her cats after celebrities. Anyway, she names a female orange kitten "Leonard Nimoy".

Now reading Poets and Saints by Jamie George in order to review it. It's part of a project which includes the band All Sons and Daughters' album of the same title. The book tells the story of 10 historically significant Eurpoean Christians. :)

I didn't know that was a thing, but thanks to your post I found the library is buying one called Bolthole, by Jeff Mariotte. I'm in! :D

Yep. I think the one I have is the first one (Extremis) with Bolthold being the second. I believe a New Orleans one is due, but I haven't seen any for the original series.

So far, with Extremis, all the characters feel right and I am enjoying it.

(There is a series of books by Mel Odom about an NCIS unit, but unrelated to the show)

I just finished reading ThunderBird by Jack McDevitt the story reminded me of the Stargate Tv series.

Im about halfway through Star Wars: Bloodline. I'm enjoying it and really looking forward to farther novels than reveal the important moments of pre-TFA history.

I finished the IDW TOS miniseries Mission's End yesterday, and I found it kind of meh. The story was OK, but didn't really feel like a story that needed to be told as the final mission. I was hoping something a bit more personal that really made it feel like the characters had to leave, but I didn't really feel like this story had that. It really felt like a story that could have easily happen at any point in the 5 year mission. I was also kind of hoping for some call backs to episodes of the show since this was the end, but we didn't get that either. We did get a call back to the WNMHGB era of the 5YM, but it was just as a set up for the latter part of the miniseries, with no real familiar elements. It was well written, and the story we got was pretty good, but it just didn't really give me what I was hoping for.
My rating: 7/10.

I read a republished Science fiction novel that originally came out in 1987 called Twistor by John Crammer it was an interesting look at physics and alternate universes . I really enjoyed reading this book. I hope I can find Einstein's bridge at the library sometime .
