Who Is it?

Spock's Barber

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
A quick trivia question....what supporting actor appeared in at least 1 episode of each of the 3 TOS seasons? Hint : He was not ever a member of the Enterprise crew.

Good guess. Another hint....it was not Janos Prohaska (Horta, Mugato, Yarnak). The mystery man's face is seen and he had minor speaking parts in all 3 seasons.

Billy Blackburn?

No. This actor was never an Enterprise crewman. Someone more obscure, but he was cast in very small roles through all 3 seasons. He spoke a few lines. He is one of the actors that seemed to pop up on TOS when you least expect it. Hint : he was a patient, an alien, a starfleet officer, a soldier and another role that I can't describe otherwise it would give it away too easily.

Bingo. He was the tortured patient in 'Daggar', the beastie in 'Miri', an SS soldier in 'Patterns', the USS Exeter doctor in 'Omega' and the barber in 'Spectre'.

You win a bottle of 100 year old Saurian brandy.

Yes! But I had to research that. :D

Blackburn I knew because I just saw his specials on the new Blu-ray 30 disc set.

What about Pete Kellet? He had three roles in Trek but yep okay he was a crewmen in the mirror universe, one of the Morg guards in Spock's Brain and a Klingon in Day of The Dove! "Stand and fight you coward!"

Good call. You are correct. I can see his face now in each of those roles, but I think Ed McCready was the only actor that fits the original question of being in all 3 seasons.

Yep he was in all three seasons! Dr.Carter the chief physician on The USS Exeter was probably his biggest role! Can't see him having as good a relationship with his Captain as Bones had with Kirk though!

AHHH...UGGHH! Daaahh Derrrr! Cue screen going black and Kirk saying "Let's get down to the planet..fast!"

When I was a kid, I thought that the camera panning down to his crystalline remains, right where the video log showed him falling, was the coolest thing they could have done.

Also, I find it remarkable that in all these years, I never realized it was the same guy twice, to say nothing of five times.

HaHaHaHa! Yeah the reuse of actors in shows from the sixties is one thing that never bothers you until you reach your teenage years and then you start to notice and get annoyed! :wah:
