Ruminations:
Buckball sounds suspiciously like baseball, though I could be wrong. Still, I'm excited by the idea, as a baseball fan, and I can't wait to see a new sport in Equestria. Pairing up Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy on this one sounds like a lot of fun, and we may get to see Appleoosa again, which would be nice. This season has allowed us to see more of Equestria, and I hope we see even more. What makes me more gratified is that this will be another slice of life episode, and as you all know, slice of life episodes are my favorites. On to the show!

What a fun episode! It turned out to be a more ponified version of basketball, but I enjoyed it anyway. This episode definitely wins for best faces, and I love that we got a Pinkie/Fluttershy centered story this time around. On a side note, I think Rainbow Dash has matured greatly, and I like seeing her this way. I hope that trend continues. In the meantime, Pinkie Pie with her hair up is adorable, and Flutters is as cute as ever. Happy ponies make for a happy episode. This slice of lifer gets an A from me.

That was a real evolution for Rainbow. She's grown up. And seeing the four together was a welcome change of pace. A from me as well.

Yeah, that was really enjoyable. And what a star turn from Snails!

Also, I think they're doing the faces on purpose now.

Yes, I was so very pleased with Rainbow's growth and maturity. She still likes the spotlight, but she's willing to share, and she's better at encouraging others, though clearly her zeal works against her here.

Yeah, that was really enjoyable. And what a star turn from Snails!

Snails as the Zen Master of Buckball just cracked me up.
Also, yes, this episode was pure best horse face, and I loved it.
