Yes, that's the spirit! Those are great ideas!Bingo. What about telling a straightforward romance? Costumes and makeup, existing sets and/or outside. Or a medical drama? A courtroom battle? Some sort of sporting event?

Or could it be Romulan Wars, which is a whole lot cooler than Axanar?New opinion piece on AxaMonitor about the blog post that soared on social media and excited Axanar supporters last week. Here's what that blog got wrong:

To be honest, I would be thrilled if Discovery treated with Romulans in any way. I've had enough of Klingons for a while.Or could it be Romulan Wars, which is a whole lot cooler than Axanar?
Lee doesn't have the million dollar backers but he makes the most of what he has.To be honest, I would be thrilled if Discovery treated with Romulans in any way. I've had enough of Klingons for a while.

Meanwhile at the corporate level it reads like thermal nuclear war as Viacom is in panic mode over the direction Paramount has taken. I don't care if people are for or against creating more content in Global acceptable formats to capture the Chinese viewer, it's simply not working at the local box office.Didn't see much of anything news-wise this week, except Alec Peters was "attacked" by both James Cawley and John Broughton regarding whether or not Alec, as an unpaid volunteer, was actually "working" for CBS as the Star Trek Archivist. Other than that, things are awfully quiet, and I always thought that meant that things were happening behind the scenes...
You mean their tenants?Given the time frame i'm just not seeing a way to deal with the Romulans. They're hiding behind their boarders.

Stumbled upon a twitter exchange initiated by one of Lord Alec's acolytes who bought into the whole "CBS is ripping off Axanar with Star Trek: Discovery!" myth, hook, line and sinker.......(these are almost cookie cutter by now)

I chuckled at the obvious BS inherent in such a myth (that Carlos did an excellent job of refuting), then stumbled upon this random post by @Tampaxanar (yes, I know, it's been a slow news week)...........

Sorry, think I'm missing something here. What are these 2 ships and their origins? I haven't paid a lot of attention to the JJ movies, and all I know about Axanar is the Ares, which, admittedly, is a gorgeous ship, that I truly like much more then the Discovery.
Scroll down, the ship in question is listed as the 'Newton Type' (this is one of the designs that Tobias Richter 'appropriated')

It is... its also a TV channel, a range of Land Rover cars as well as being a good name for a ship sent out to discover things (both real world and fictional).Isn't Discovery something they do in a court case?
