The Problems with Prequels...

So, now having gotten the part of this that would have any potential bearing on DSC out of the way, the question I think you have is "Why didn't we ever see Archer and company do site-to-site transports?" You've assumed it's because their transporter wasn't capable of it. But they have only just begun to get acquainted with its capabilities. They're all scared of the thing. It has only just been approved for use on living things at the time they depart Earth. (Which, by the way, does not mean it's only just then become possible to transport living things; safety regulations generally take a while to catch up to what technology is actually capable of. Starfleet would err on the side of caution when it comes to drafting their procedures.)

I was hoping for an expansion on what ever point you were making.
I don't like people who come in the middle of a debate and say to me "Hey it's a show. Only stupid people like you think it's worth debating about it."

Do you get the point this time?

I don't know anyone who did that. I simply answered a question that was asked using materiel from the show. I sure didn't call anyone stupid.

Not stupid people. Some people can't seem to wrap their mind around the fact that this isn't a real universe. It is a collection of stories across fifty years made by thousands of people. There are going to be contradictions. Some of those contradictions aren't going to have logical reasons beyond, "it's a TV show".

No offense but you're not breaking new ground here.
