So what happens 10 years before Star Trek. I think the Romulan War was way way before that. Trying to think about the Trek timeline and I'm drawing a blank.
#StarTrekDiscovery will be serialized but each weekly chapter will also feature closed-end stories. #TCA16

I think the Captain could be an alien though.Well I guess that confirms that the captain won't be female.
played by Bruce Greenwood.![]()
The Battle of Axanar?Incident at the center of Star Trek: Discovery is not the Romulan War, Fuller says. #TCA16
.@BryanFuller says the female lead in #StarTrekDiscovery will be human, but NOT a captain. #TCA16
That's what I'm guessing.The Battle of Axanar?
Obviously not the Romulan War, since it's too late for that. But what? Something with the Klingons?TrekMovie.com @TrekMovie 8 minför 8 minuter sedan
#StarTrekDiscovery will be about an event in Trek history that has been talked about but never fully explored, says @BryanFuller #TCA16
I don't LOVE it, but I'm perfectly fine with it.
I love TOS, I love the look of that show, and I love Fuller's work. The quality of a show is based 99% on its execution and 1% on its premise.
.@BryanFuller says #StarTrekDiscovery is set so close to Kirk era "we can play with all the iconography of those ships and those uniforms.”
Seriously? In a Star Trek forum? On today?
This board seriously needs a good face palm smilie. LOL
I think the Captain could be an alien though.
I am not a sexist but didn't canon state women aren't permitted to command a starship in the 23rd Century?
Really? Beige, tan and blue always looked so dull and sterile to me.I hope he means the beige, tan, and blue uniforms, not the gold/green, red and blue uniforms.
