I'm bummed that we won't get casting news today. What is taking so long. Don't they start filming really soon?

That's what happens when the industry is based in California and I live in a time zone that is three hours later. [/grump]

But you do get live olympics. We have to wait 3 hours because NBC told us that is how it is.

No one of course... But since they introduced the main ship Discovery, I assumed that they're also talking about the actors crewing the main ship. Unless it's a very loose shipboard concept, where action focus keeps shifting from one ship to another to a starbase or planet base...

I like they are taking the DS9/Farscape approach. Serialized storytelling but each episode can stand on it's own. Some of the shows I binge now I forget what happens in the individual episode because it just "ends" and it's just one long continuation.
