I just found out that these things exist. And even more exciting is that they have stories on the back. And Even MORE exciting is that these stories are different than the plots of the actual episodes. What's less exciting is that I can only find scans of the fronts of the cards. Does anyone know where scans are of the backs of them? I really want to read the different plot summaries but have only been able to find one so far.

This is me right now -->:(

Vulcanian! Love it. These little plots must've been based on VERY early production materials.

Oh, man, these things are a hoot. I'd never heard of them either!

They are fantastic. I really think the captions were based on some freelance writer's impression of the picture itself, and the "plot" was based on that same writer's imagination.

But interestingly the strangness of the real story lines are hardly distinguishable from the strangeness of the fake ones. I mean if you have no idea about Star Trek and had to guess which ones were actual episodes, you'd probably not be able to tell the difference.

Wouldn't that be a fun game?

How come there were no pics of The Gorn in that set? Seems like they missed a great opportunity! Great shots anyway!
