Thanks to Trekcore.com, now we can structure the storyline of the next film

A Swarm Reception seems obvious, as it is No. 5 it's not too early in the movie.
Franklin, My Dear and Crash Decisions point out that finding the derelict ship and bringing it to Yorktown Station happens in the later part of the film, but there's still a lot going on afterwards.
Cater-Krall in Zero G may point to the scene we've seen in the second trailer when Kirk through the Station.

And here I was expecting the movie's music to be "Enterprising Young Men" and its variations on a loop for two hours finishing off with Alexander Courage's TOS theme (for some reason) just like the previous two.

Oh come on. Seeing as how I just listened to both scores today, I would say they are certainly much much more then that.

It is a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. In Trek XI there was also the "Vulcan theme" but that's all I can think of. STID had that tune that plays in the scenes with Harewood in the beginning, but that's about it.

Hell, a few months ago I actually watched both movies the same day, and for the next three weeks it was impossible to get "Enterprising Young Men" out of my head.

I always get that music that plays with the Narada is on screen (I don't remember the name) stuck in my head, some of the notes sounds similar to the music playing during the Battle of Hoth in ESB

I just got done listening to the ost.
I think Night On The Yorktown is by far my favorite, followed by Thank Your Lucky Star Date.

I have to admit, this is the most passive, uninspired set of tracks to date. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Aside from spurts of "Enterprising Young Men", it's relatively unremarkable. Sorry. As a fan of the earlier soundtracks, I find this one disappointing.

I'm listening to Night on the Yorktown, and it sounds a bit like a Disney Track. Not that that sounds like a bad thing, but I think someone up thread (Or maybe it was on Facebook) said it was reminiscent of The Motion Picture. Not hearing it yet.

Actually, just from the movie itself, the music as a lot better in this one than the other two movies. Enterprising Young Men, though still very prominent is reigned in this time and doesn't seem to dominate the film like it did the other two. Also, the music when the Enterprise arrives at Yorktown is pretty good.

I read some speculation that there wouldn't be a Deluxe Edition of this soundtrack, because it's longer than the other two standard editions. What do we think? Is there music from Beyond that didn't make it onto the soundtrack?

I hope there will be a deluxe edition. In that youtube clip you can see cover pages with some track titles which are not part of the current soundtrack edition:

Cool, thanks. I'll hold out a while then. Last time there was a year-long wait between the film and the announcement of the Deluxe Edition!
