Picture the Novelverse - Characters, Ships and More !

And SCE: Collective Hindsight, Book Two:

There's a kitbash and no mistake! :D

I think I see some Danube class, Defiant obviously. Those little wings look familiar....

Personally I see him more as an ENT style Tellarite:D
I usually picture the characters as whatever the most recent design is, unless it's something like the post-ENT TOS Klingons where there are specifically different groups matching the different designs.

(Jinn was joking about how you said "Andorian" by mistake in your original post, I think. :p)

It's completely understandable. I probably deserve it if I'm oblivious enough to make a mistake like that.

Not that specific ship, but we did see the refit-design Endeavour on the cover of Tower of Babel.

Yeah, the NX-01 in the Rise of the Federation series is a museum ship in Earth orbit now (unless she gets pulled out of retirement at some point during Live By the Code--I'm only a third of the way through that one).

Cult Cross's cover for A Choice of Futures is very cool, but it really ought to be NCC-06 rather than the NX-01 (which, so far as we know, was never refit to the Columbia class like the Endeavour was).

Also, they use the TNG-era version of the Great Seal of the United Federation of Planets rather than the 2161 version seen in "Zero Hour" and "These Are the Voyages..." -- but now I'm just nit-picking. ;)

Wait, seriously? This thing has a name? I didn't know that...

The name has never been used onscreen, but it was used in the first two editions of The Star Trek Encyclopedia: A Reference Guide to the Future by Michael and Denise Okuda.

ETA:

Even though the UFP Great Seal is clearly based on the emblem appearing on the Flag of the United Nations (and the Federation Flag itself is based on the U.N. flag), the name itself appears to come from the Great Seal of the United States of America.

Of those who've read the SCE story. Can you identify that amalgam ship from the German covers?

Very cool. Is this the first time we've gotten an official Trek Lit book trailer?
