Who's your pick for the new captain?

Frankly, I feel like we've had enough white dudes in charge of the starship.

I would be surprised if the captain of the new series ends up being both white and male. Fuller has previously expressed his desire for a female person of color, so even if it isn't his original specific actress choice that he had years ago, it would be odd to me if he went back towards familiar casting choices in previous Trek incarnations for captains.
