CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

I like the Axanar faithful turning on Christian Gossett, telling him he's a hater/hack while simultaneously trumpeting Prelude to Axanar as "real Trek." While Alec was touring conventions and practicing his narrowed-eyebrows expression in the mirror, Gossett (as well as the crew and guys like Tommy Kraft) were doing the actual work of creating the film these fans are fawning over.

Here's a solution. Create a cable channel where anyone wanting to rip off IP can do anything they want. To have access, viewers and programmers have to submit 3d-printer files of all their property and business keys, along with addresses, to a public website.
 
It's kind of sweet that CBS/Paramount is getting more heat over this than Peters. Understandable, because no one outside the small fan community knows about him, but they do know about the big studios thus see this more as the big companies punching down fans rather.

So, if I understand correctly, you're applauding the misconception of people who think someone who steals intellectual property to make a profit is the victim of the situation? Seems a rather absurd argument, on its face.
 
Seriously, Axanar (?) (who is it behind 'project small access'?) is doubling down on claiming they are the champions of victims, after every Trek professional that exists now understands they are encroached upon by Axanar's conduct, and every fan film that exists knows they are shut down by Axanar's conduct?

What a house of cards to keep this up. Unbelievable.

Reporters are eventually going to start listening to someone besides RMB, Alec, and Mr. Bawden. Like... everyone else professionally involved in Trek.
