Umm, the Bond film series pretty much created the majority of the 'spy film cliches' they've used over the past 50+ years. That said, I find the current crop far more palatable then the last few films of the Roger Moore run - which I all saw first run in the theatre (I'm old).James Bond movies have been a mixed bag for some time now.
