LOL! Someone put 3 lasers inside a Klingon Battlecruiser!

I couldn't say for certain, but there are very powerful green lasers used by star gazers to point at stars which have a very visible scatter without a lot of fog, et cetera. I bet he's used some of those.

That does look pretty sweet...but it could use a more appropriate background than Some Guy's Living Room.

Interesting, thanks. Maybe that and a long exposure; some of the other lights on the model look a little "burned in."

How do they photograph the beams, fog up the room or something?

The gang at Laser Pointer Forums often play with lasers above 5 mW. However, green lasers at 5 mW will produce a visible beam without smoking up the room because the human eye is most sensitive to green light. Based on the exposure of the ship's lights, I'm guessing the lasers are Class 3R (5 mW). The red laser is probably Class 3B or higher. (At a guess, 75 mW.)

EDIT: I should have followed the link where the modeler details the lasers used.

WARNING: Many green lasers are DPSSLs, which put out a lot of infra-red. Also, many lasers wearing a Class 3R label (Class IIIa in the old system) actually output more than the 5 mW rating limit. Always exercise caution with lasers, and join a forum like laserpointerforums.com to learn more if you plan to play with higher powered lasers.

There's a Laser Pointer forum? Gotta love the internet. I'm imagining a thread where people list all the movies they ruined with laser pointers and a sticky thread telling people not to aim them at airplane cockpits.

Yep, there's a Laser Pointer Forum, but I always thought the term "pointer" was odd. I think of laser pointers as Class 3R and under—safe enough for kids to tease the cat with. The members of the LPF tinker with Class 4 lasers that can be devastating if used in ignorance (or with malice). I guess these lasers are considered "pointers" because they are portable and entirely self-contained.

The laser videos linked above look cool, but even the "room glow" of blue lasers is considered unhealthy. With lasers this powerful, looking at the "dot" can cause permanent eye damage. Meanwhile, sci-fi heroes never have to wear safety goggles while using personal laser weapons.
