Basically Big Finish seem to have taken advantage of him being back in the UK for a while to record a bunch of stuff with him as opposed to doing it over Skype as they've had to so far.

Frankly, if Jack hadn't said "hello" to Jackie at some point, repeatedly (sometimes in French) I would be disappointed in both of them.

Well it was Jack, Ianto, Gwen, Rhys and Andy as the main cast, so either she was misquoted or changed her mind.
