I didn't see a topic for Intriguing Thread Titles. Things that are ambiguous, easily misread, curious, or all too true.
There are several that make me pause every time I read them:

Enterprise shooting model
Rather tasteless target practice, if you ask me.

Voyage Home Probe
Don't try this at home

Questions on the Captain's Logs

Sometimes I find it funny when long thread titles are truncated on the main page, leaving room for misinterpretation. I can't think of any at the moment, though.

I've never read any of the Tarzan books, but I get the feeling Pocket may have used that

You can find them in the lit forum. The guy coming up with them isn't known for conciseness.

I don't normally visit the "Sports and Fitness" forum. But there's a thread in there called "Fitness Checkin", and whenever it happens to display on the main forum listing page as the most recent post in that forum, I always initially read it as "Fitness Chicken".

Every. Single. Time.

Yet he claims repeatedly that he is fully functionable (including use of private parts).
And I seem to remember that he is eating and drinking in some episodes. What goes in must get out again somewhere. It's only logical with a humanoid android to use those parts of the anatomy a human uses for these purposes

Sometimes a long-running thread gets stuck with a title that's embarrassingly outdated for most of its life, because the person who started the thread clearly wasn't thinking that he was starting what would become used as an upcoming production's official anticipation thread. e.g.,

Wolverine director search down to 8

That was the title of the thread for two years, including after the film was in theaters.

Think before you post that exciting bit of news about an upcoming production, folks.

Ouch! I did spell it correctly in the text, but not the title. Perhaps someone with sufficient authority can fix it.

I keep seeing the thread in TV/Media that says, "Has Anyone Cut the Cord?" Only it gets get off in the Forum listing as "Has Anyone Cut the C--" and I keep thinking, "Cheese?"

Apparently, on some level, I am still 12 years old.
