Assuming that is going to be a workspace for the production and writing staff, it makes sense to have the Enterprises together, and perhaps another space for other notable ships like the Excelsior, Voyager, Defiant, Reliant, etc

The "succession of enterprises" has been a Trek thing since the TMP rec deck, that's all I read into it. Although don't get me wrong, I won't be at all surprised if we end up with an Enterprise based series.

I don't think that was the intent. I think someone just wanted to take a photo of Bryan Singer and that other dude making the Vulcan handshake, and the bald dude with the phaser, and the silhouettes just happened to be in the background.
