Well, looking on the bright side, hopefully this clears the way for the Arrow producers to pursue those Constantine guest-appearance possibilities they were holding off on before.
If they do bring Constantine into the Arrowverse, I really hope they can get Matt Ryan to come back, even if he's not "officially" the same version of the character.

The comments I've heard from the producers gave me the impression that it would be the same version of the character. After all, why wouldn't it be? Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment own the show, and NBC no longer has an interest in it. It's no different from moving a cancelled show to a new network. And we've seen characters from one show appear on different shows before, like Detective Muntz showing up all over the TV dial, or Cinnamon Carter and Mannix appearing in Diagnosis: Murder episodes.
So we might get to see Constantine retroactively folded into the CW-verse. I'm hoping we'll see the whole cast and get some followup on the dangling story threads.

I'm not a big fan of any of the extras in the cast. I think the weak supporting characters (not necessarily the actors) was something that really hurt this show. As for the actors themselves, I could also live with a recasting of Jim Corrigan.

Huh? Who said anything about extras? Extras are background players who have no scripted dialogue. Why in the world would they be brought across? I'm talking about the regular cast -- Ryan, Celaya, Halford, Perrineau. Or at least Ryan and Celaya, though you'd need Perrineau in order to wrap up the dangling threads.
And gods, yes, don't do Jim Corrigan unless you recast the role. That guy was terrible. His acting style reminded me of Manos: The Hands of Fate.
So many have said it that surely this thought has been brought to the attention of the CW.It would be pretty cool if Constantine could be revived. Supernatural has run its course and Constantine would fit in very well on the network.
The sheer conflict of writing styles, tones, and themes would be jarring beyond belief.Constantine on Legends of Tomorrow would be awesome! Especially since Hawkman is out a slot is open!
Are you currently under the impression the show is well written as it is?The sheer conflict of writing styles, tones, and themes would be jarring beyond belief.
I can't even begin to understand how you came to that conclusion from anything I've said. Are you currently under the impression the show is well written as it is?
It's guilty fun that doesn't take itself too seriously and that shows.
