Big Bang Theory Season 9 Discussion (Spoilers included)

Didn't mean to imply that it was anything but lighthearted. But it was still a serious -- and very dumb -- question.

That was hyperbole, but yes, you were quite serious in the criticism.
But it was still a serious -- and very dumb -- question.
Oh, there are a lot of dumb things being said here, the misunderstanding of "lighthearted" and the fact that you even turned such a minor thing into an insult being two of them, but none of it was from his obviously joking post.

I had the same thought cross my mind when I saw Sheldon's t-shirt too. Yes, there are Green Arrow shirts in other colors, but usually when you have something so associated with the color green, your mind just expects to see some, you know, green somewhere. It doesn't mean he's criticizing the show or starting a letter writing campaign. It's just a humorous observation.

*shrugs* Tell yourself whatever you need to. Call it a humorous observation. Call it a lighthearted question. It doesn't change it from being anything other than the dumb question it was.

I don't recall anyone commenting about his all-blue Superman t-shirt, with not a hint of red or yellow anywhere to be found. He even chose to match it with green rather than either of those colors. "Oh, ho ho ho, how humorous that observation is! So unexpected, it had me laughing my pants off! Ho ho ho!"

Oh, I do tell myself what I need to when dealing with deathly serious business such as offhand t-shirt color jokes. It's the only way I can cope.

And if his name was Super Blue Man and his suit wasn't already primarily blue, that might be a damning comparison for his totally serious horrific critique of The Big Bang Theory.

Y'all stay classy now.

Oh, I see now. I see.

If someone says (or I guess thinks) a color, everything related to that color MUST be that exact same color. It has nothing to do with anything else. So when they show a red light district on a crime drama, you must really get your hackles up when there aren't any actual red lights anywhere to be seen.

Totally legit "humorous observation."

I'm surprised there isn't more disbelief (sorry, "humorous observations") about the two superhero shirts Sheldon wore in this last episode. I mean, an orange Batman shirt and a blue Flash one? It was a delight!

How quickly the writers forget that Howard and Amy bonded over their love of Neil Diamond a few seasons back.

Really nice to see Zack again!

I hope Sheldon and Bernadette hang out again. Never thought I'd see them paired up and like it but I did.
