Not a perfect movie but I still enjoy watching it (far more than the prequels), Good character driven moments beats walking wood any day.
YesAm I the only one that found Han's death somewhat lacking?
As oppose to the wonderful quiet moment of emotionally trying to reach his son and bring him back to the light, that would be a NO!Personally I would have liked seeing Han go out with a bang- a big moment of self sacrifice which saves the day...

How the hell Rey know how to do a mind trick when she had zero training?

Kudos for making a fully functional prop in BB 8......... I want one of those now dammit....... I thought it was some bloody trick with the head staying on but to find they actually built this and it works.
Disappointment when you find out how much the actual working toy of this costs, and how small it is.
I'm sure it will be touched upon in the sequel. I think part of the whole point is supposed to be that it's unexpected and unusual. Not everything needs to be explained in detail right away.
The Sphero BB-8 costs only a little more than the original, non-BB-8 Sphero toy that was just a ball with no dome on top.

I personally took it as Kylo unintentionally showed showed her when he was trying to probe inside her mind, and Rey picked up on different concepts and then tried to make them work.OK I felt quite disappointed after watching this....... So much I could pick on in this film.
How the hell Rey know how to do a mind trick when she had zero training? And Ren and his teenage temper trantrums...... What he wasn't a teenager, certainly felt like it. Felt like a remake of the very first SW movie.

As for Kylo's tantrums, honestly, that what I would expect from someone who doesn't get what they want and is told that they are the best and the future Darth Vader. He is a spoiled brat by Snoke, and guess what? He acts like it.
That was my interpretation too, that she simply mimicked what Kylo was doing to her.I personally took it as Kylo unintentionally showed showed her when he was trying to probe inside her mind, and Rey picked up on different concepts and then tried to make them work.
Yeah, I thought the tantrums were a nice bit of characterization. To me it was a way of showing that he is a bit of unstable, and that he wasn't some wise reserved warrior. He was basically just a pissed off kid with serious daddy and granddaddy issues. As for Kylo's tantrums, honestly, that what I would expect from someone who doesn't get what they want and is told that they are the best and the future Darth Vader.
