I just watched IGN's trailer breakdown and they mentioned a couple bits of info I hadn't heard before. They said they believe Diego Luna's character is named Casian Wilux or Wilex, something like that. The black armored troopers are Death Squad troopers, and the droid we see several times is an enforcer droid. They pointed out that if you look during the scene of Jyn, "Casian" and the enforcer droid running through the Imperial base Jyn is holding some kind of tablet, and she's holding it again in the scene with the AT-AT, so it looks like there's a chance they're part of the same sequence.

I wonder if that sequence has them INSIDE the Death Star I

My only question is, if that is indeed Yavin 4 under attack, how can the rebels have a base there in ANH?

I think this sequence takes place outside an Imperial base the Rebellion was attacking and the AT-ATs are the reinforcements meant to take it back.

I imagine what I guess is a Grand Admiral walking through the water is coming up to that base in the aftermath. The other option is that he could be a very high ranking ISB officer, as Wullf Yularen had a white uniform as ISB on the Death Star.

A lot of people have said that, but if the attack on the beach or desert with the AT-ATs is part of that sequence, then it can't be, since the Death Star doesn't have sand and trees inside.

Why not...? Sure as hell its big enough - perhaps they have some AT-ATs in there for desert combat training

I imagine they are stealing the plans from a base on a planet the Death Star is orbiting. I wouldn't put it past the Empire to try to blow up that planet. Even if it is only a continent cracking low powered shot.

Speculation time. Do you think they might attempt to infiltrate the Death Star to put the superlaser out of commission for a little while? To buy the Rebellion more time? It won't do much, as Alderaan will still be the demonstration of the Empire's new toy to the galaxy.

And I still suspect we'll see either the final transmission to the Tantive IV or even see the ship itself before the end of the film.

Probably just another generic planet.
But this one is a Beach Planet! We haven't had one of those yet. We have had Jungle Planet, a Forest Planet, a Fjord Planet, a Tiny Islands Planet, a Swamp Planet, a Lava Planet, a City Planet, three Desert Planets, an Ocean Planet, and a Destroyed Planet (too soon?) so now it is time for a Beach Planet!

Maybe we find out that the Death Star is a Dyson sphere.

How sad is it that the main thing I noticed about this trailer if that they went with the ANH version of the Star Destroyer rather than the arguably more recognisable ESB one? ;)

Interesting for all us UK persons...

Open Air Cinema

Summer's on its way to London. How do we know? Rooftop Film Club is back.

Tickets go on sale at 10am this morning for screenings in Peckham, Shoreditch, Stratford and Kensington, starting in May, and running through until September.

While the full line-up won't be announced until tickets go on sale, we know the season kicks off with a screening of the latest Star Wars film at Peckham's Bussey Building on — you guessed it — May the fourth. Best of all,Rooftop Film Club is offering free tickets to any followers of The Force that arrive armed and ready to take on the First Order (we're talking costumes and lightsabers here, people).
