"After surviving a car accident, Michelle wakes up to find herself in an underground bunker with two men named Howard (John Goodman) and Emmett. Howard tells her that a massive chemical attack has rendered the air unbreathable and their only hope of survival is to remain inside." - Wikipedia
Just got back from seeing this movie and I found it interesting. It does something a little different with material that you've seen in other movies. Sounds vague but I don't want to say too much. That and it's got Mary Elizabeth Winstead and a great performance from John Goodman. Bradley Cooper has a small role but he phones it in.
And while it's not related to 2008's Cloverfield, it's produced by J.J. Abrams and capitalizes on the name. It's a good recipe for getting people into theatres but it's also a gripping ride because you want to know what's going on. So far it's getting good reviews and high scores.
