Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

Its either a twin brother, a clone, a speed duplicate split in half, a 3rd alternate, or a "future" version. Which route are they going to take? Lol.
It's good to see that it's as convoluted as an honest-to-God comic book. Or close, unless Magneto is in the man in the mask.

I always thought E1- Jessie was either never born or ended up being raised by someone else. She looks old enough to have been born before E1 Wells was killed...

Anyone know why many of these Berlanti superhero shows have these crazy schedule?

We had a streak of new episodes after winter break, but now repeats???when is the next new episode???

That's been common TV scheduling practice since the '90s at the latest. With only 22-ish episodes per season and 52 weeks per year, they have to be spread out, and new episodes tend to get concentrated around ratings-sweeps periods. So you get a bunch of new episodes in the fall, then a break during the holiday season, then a shorter stretch of new episodes encompassing February sweeps, then another break in early spring or thereabouts so that the buildup to the season finale will culminate in May or June.

And it's not all the Berlanti shows at once, by the way. Legends of Tomorrow is still debuting new episodes while the others are on break. Although it started at midseason, so it's understandable that it has a more compact schedule.

Oh, and the next new episode of The Flash is on the 22nd -- just six days before the Flash's universe-crossing appearance on Supergirl.

It's not a 52 week schedule anymore.

It's 26, considering what a big deal they make about the fall line up.

There's dribble over, but sweeps must be respected, unless you're Bones or NCIS.

Legends are also going on a two week break after tonight.
But Supergirl is returning on Monday.

Oh, you poor people. We've got to wait until 2017 for more Doctor Who, and that's only slightly longer than we normally have to wait between series.

Dude, stop whining. There are currently three monthly ongoing DW comic book series, a fourth is starting soon, and one mini-series is just followed up by another. And that's just the US comics, there's obviously the strip in DW Magazine by Panini, there's new novels being released, there's the Big Finish audio dramas, plus an up-coming spin-off TV show where Capaldi is going to be guesting on.

The Flash has one, count it, ONE monthly book, with sharing the monthly "Justice League" and the semi-monthly "Justice League of America", and maybe (I'm not sure) a digital-first tie-in comic series, no current novels, no audio dramas. And even then, those monthly comics and the TV show are set in different universes with different characters, etc..

There really is less new Flash than new Doctor Who released out there. Not saying that's bad, just stating a fact.

My complaint isn't that we have to wait between episodes, it's just that the breaks seem kind of random, with no logical reason to start and stop (probably more so with Supergirl than with Flash). If they changed it into 3 mini-arcs, Fall, WInter and Spring, that would be fine with me.

Pretty much every show on the networks does that, so I don't really get upset about it anymore.

The hiatus doesn't bother me, other than when the show came back from the winter hiatus there was something about it that felt, weird. Besides in two weeks we get Flash twice In a week with the Supergirl episode so good times will be had again.
