SCORPION
I love PRIME FACTORS. It's my second fav ep in Season 1, the first one being CARETAKER, of course. The way it ends is an elevating experience with Janeway, B'Elanna and Tuvok - the latter two receiving a thorough dressing-down from Janeway, who does this with firmness but with an understanding heart. Perfect ending for an episode!I watched that episode yesterday!
A pleasurable experience!
BTW, my friends and I had what we call a VOY DAY today. We usually do this 4-5 times a year - sometimes even more frequently. We watched the first ten episodes of Season 2 today - it was quite simply fantastic! At the same time we had pizza, big burgers and coke - an excellent way of spending Sunday together.

I only saw DS9 years after VOY so I had no idea who Quark was. Now that I'm also familiar with Deep Space Nine to a certain extent, I appreciate that scene with him a lot more than I used to.^^

As for "Caretaker", it's the best pilot episode I've seen in any series.
One of my top 5 Voyager favorites!
As for Caretaker, it's undoubtedly the best episode in Season 1. You're hooked form the first second on and your attention is kept up throughout the whole story.
Mind you, now that I know DS9 a little, I wouldn't have minded a scene between Janeway and Sisko.
Still, Voyager is Voyager - and in my book there's nothing like it. Best show ever! (My second fav is DS9 of the ST franchise - I'm bored with the rest.)
