Star Trek TOS remastered Blu-ray DVD's

With the 50th anniversary coming up, I thought I would look into getting TOS DVD's in the remastered Blu-ray format. I already have the entire series on DVD back when they first came out in in 2 episodes per package format.

Amazon currently has all 3 seasons of TOS in remastered Blu-ray for only $68.15 (formerly $321.99) so I went ahead and grabbed it. Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link for it or not so I'll play it safe. If anyone is interested, just go to Amazon's site and do a search on it.

Also, please note that this is just to inform those who are interested, I don't care to start a debate about the original effects vs. the remastered version, there are already enough threads on that.

320 odd dollars is pretty ridiculous, 68.15 or whatever that is in great British pounds sterling would be my idea of the actual regular price.

As an aside I picked up the first season on Bluray the other week, someone on Ebay was selling it for just under two quid (about two cans of Coca-cola) for whatever mistaken reason.

I paid an average of $60 a season new for the sets.

Yeah, $321.99 does sound a bit high, I wonder if they really sold for that. Still, Amazon always has decent prices for a lot of things.

My only regrets with the TOS sets are the packaging and the lack of a 'Play All' feature on the discs.

Yeah, they drop fairly low from time to time. I got them for about that much a year or so ago. Good purchase!
