Made a doll of a guild mate's orc. The green one there is Grim-doll. The pink one is my sister's mage, Iselinn-doll.

This one is Drek-doll. Made him for my fiancee whom I met through WoW.

The original idea for this goes to a friend who at Christmas changed the usual paper snowflakes into cogwheels. I felt crafty today and so this happened.
1. Find all kind of different shades of brown paper in your paper collection
2. Cut out circles in different sizes, fold them up several times and start cutting shapes
3. Unfold them and be impressed / surprised of what you achieved. Then it's just a matter of arranging and glueing them in a nice way.
PS: The holes on the left side of the ground paper shows that this was the backside of a calendar once. It also shows that in my household nothing ever gets thrown away until one day I find the perfect use for it.

Yeah I've done that kind of thing too. Get a piece of paper or card, fold it and fold it again and start cutting and when you unfold it you get amazing shapes and holes. It's fun.

Thank you! It's been a long time since I did this, but it has been fun! And it's so easy to do with children.

I remember when I was a child, my father showed me how to make a garland, of cutting half a girl and half a boy and when you unfold it, they would hold hands in a long row.

Yeah those kind of things can be real fun.

They started selling these magazines with colouring pencils for adults over here a few months back and within a week none of the newsagents I looked at had any issues left. It became very popular. More so that the finished pictures you could tear out as they had perforations on the pages, frame, and hang.

My mom bought me a sewing machine for an early birthday present! I haven't sewn much since I was a teen, but I'm having a blast. I bought some vintage fabric off eBay and I've been sprucing up the home décor.
eBay for fabric has really been a dream come true. This kettle cloth with velvet flowers cost less than $10 for about nearly two fat quarters. I made new pillow covers for my bed. It was my first project on this machine and my first project in about 15 years, so I had some issues relearning tension and stuff, especially when it came to the decorative stitching. It's evident in the square pillow, but by the time I got to the neck roll I had the hang of it. (And yes, that's a sexy Dean and Sam Supernatural pillow. I told my mother I was depressed and she sent that to me. I laughed so hard I cried.)

But the real find was this fabric. This fucking '70s gem! It didn't come in a standard FQ, but the pieces were of workable size and the condition superb, and I paid only about $15, shipping included. It just makes me happier than I can say, and really complements the Golden Girls picture my roommates and I have up in the living room. I made pillows and a runner.
