Your Games Backlog

Do you like buying games? Owning them? Games that you don't have the time (or even inclination in some cases) to play? Maybe with some games you like the idea of playing them, the theoretical ability to play them, more than actually playing them? Maybe you just like to support certain developers?

If one or more of these things applies to you, then you most likely have a backlog, and maybe it even contains some things you actively plan to get into (or back into).

For instance, here's my backlog of recent purchases that I actually want to play at some point. I tried to collect them in a Google Doc but it's still very much work in progress, I keep forgetting stuff that I bought.

It's kind of a nightmare-ish proposition with limited free time.

Do you guys have a backlog? Maybe a shelf of shame? Games still shrink-wrapped? Do you need lists to keep track? Do you play several games concurrently or do you prefer playing them back-to-back?

I have quite a few games that I've bought and mean to finish but haven't. (All PC). I haven't bought any that I've not actually started yet

I also don't think I've finished KOTOR 1 yet either.

They'll be more but I can't think of them at the moment. Some of those may date back to Amiga days too

I don't have a backlog. I buy a game, play it, and then buy something else to play. I might have 2-3 games going on once (different genres), but no backlog.

Right now I'm playing Shantae: Risky's Revenge which is about a 4 hour long game and I have no idea what I'm playing next. I'll figure that out when I beat it.

Yep. Too many. I'm trying to whittle them down this year. Yep. Have one over on Backloggery to do just that. The former, but I'm trying to focus on one at a time so I can get it done.

Yeah I've got a bunch of stuff on Steam from several humble bundles and sales I've yet to get around to. Indeed, because of this I made a point *not* to buy anything in the recent Christmas sales...That said had Alien Isolation been a bit cheaper, I probably would have gone for it regardless.

If memory serves, the first time I tried it I had an issue with the sound. I think it's ok now though.

I've also noticed another and I'm going to try that when I have a spare minute - Alpha Protocol.

Hmm, I bought Fallout 4 but got diverted when the hubby downloaded the Mass Effect trilogy for me as a Christmas present. So I'm working my way through those for the millionth time instead of immersing myself again in Fallout.

I also have the Halo collection (I believe it came with the Xbox when I bought it a year ago!) which is awaiting my attention. I also have Watch Dogs somewhere.

I got the Gears of War collection free when I bought the HD version, so I have 2, 3 and Judgement to play as well, but I've completed these years ago already.

As I wrote in previous topic, my favourite video game is the Star Trek Elite Force II.. A borg cube attacks, the sounds in the game and the graphic that makes the return to the past of the computer video games are so fantastic, it`s a nice sequel to Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force. I played both of these games And I`m a great fan of the Star Trek, I even started t develop our own game with my friends with the design of the Star Trek slotswww.slotozilla.com/free-slots/star-trek like it is here, and then I`ll start to develop more serious games not only for the slot machines... Gotta go through all the Kingdom Hearts games before Kingdom Hearts III comes out. Going in in-universe chronological order. Pace: ridiculously slow. I also have a game of CIV V I need to finish as China.

Many games on Steam and Gog that I haven't found time to play yet. I mostly play older stuff that's cheap, especially on sale, so free time is a scarcer resource than the few $$ the games cost.
