(I should also note that Star Wars has already surpassed Titanic...and is looking to take down Avatar - a film directed by JJ Abrams).
Yes, I've always loved JJ Abrams' Avatar.
Coincidentally a few days ago I mentioned that CBS should just order a book about The Battle of Axanar from Simon and Schuster.
They beat me to it: Garth of Izar.
That sounds like really bad fan fic.![]()
It doesn't seem to cover the battle, though.
Wow, sometimes I just have to reply to comments.
First of all, I never said
“…better than the JJ movies, that his fans are going to boycott the new movie in support of his show…”
I was simply quoting what Blastr said here:
http://www.blastr.com/2014-8-15/sta...short-online-and-better-anything-abrams-doing
And as to fans boycotting the new movie, I have never once advocated that. I certainly won’t be! I am looking forward to the new movie, especially because I love the director, Justin Lin as well as being a huge Star Trek geek.
And no one is plowing Axanar funds into a for-profit movie studio. That is bullshit. We have a building we have rented to build sets in and make Axanar, and when we are done with Axanar, I will still be on the hook for the rent and storage of the sets. Would we like to be movie producers? Sure, but we have no plans for that right now.

Pardon? The ship is basically symmetrical top and bottom, and the wings are non aerodynamic slabs. It couldn't fly anyway without antigravity any more than a TIE fighter, so its movements make as much sense upside down as right side up: none.Blue Angels? Psssst I'll take the Red Arrows anyday
My point is that when the X-Wing is inverted, the movements not make sense at all![]()
The other X Wings that turned to port/left made a port/left spin whereas this tricky bugger made a port/left rudder slew. I think its the same one that gets blown up in the trench run scene at Starkiller Base with a single hit to the port upper engine

Chuck Lorre should mine this thread for BBT dialogue. Then we could sue CBS for copyright infringement back.
#IStandWithPeopleWhoWanttoSeeStarWarsTheForceAwakensAgain
Hey, I'm in a SW mood and I had fun.
I'm in this boat: #IStandWithPeopleWhoHaven'tSeenTheForceAwakensYet
(My wife is pregnant - identical twin boys - so we are waiting until the crowds die down)
1st: Congratulations.
2nd: I hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to see it.![]()

Secondly, I'm in the same boat regarding the film. I have yet to see it, but man do I want to!

Ares Studios - We funded and created a film studio. While not yet finished,Ares Studio will have everything needed to make movies for years to come.

They are currently involved in a copyright infringement lawsuit over TBBT.

Way to go on the calm, professional response there, Champ.
Aw, thanks, Maurice! That lawyer would be me.

Sure. What do you think about Kickstarter's liability in this in terms of their allowing these projects when their rules clearly state projects musty have the rights to the I.P.? They can't claim they were ignorant of this.
