Lovely concept art.

EDIT: I recommend checking the link if you haven't, there's a lot of art pieces there.

I don't know why, but nothing fills me with more childhood nostalgia than Rocksteady and Bebop. I love those guys

BUMP!

Bought the Blu-Ray this past week, I still maintain the movie, overall, isn't nearly as bad as it could have been and as a life-long Turtles fan I had left the theater, and watch this movie, more or less satisfied. There's a lot of problems, sure, and a lot of things they could have differently but in the end it's not too terrible.

Blu-Ray makes for a decent release though it uses a higher-end audio track meant for more advanced surround-sound systems and, thus, doesn't come out sounding too good on my simple, cheap, soundbar.

Video looks good, haven't really checked out the special features yet.

I did listen to the "Descriptive Audio" track, something I actually enjoy listening to when it's available, and as far as it goes it's fairly decent but doesn't seem quite as descriptive as it is on other movies with this feature. Though TMNT is a movie that doesn't often let-up enough to gave the narrator time to well-describe things.

Even I, someone who utterly hated the film, would agree with this faint praise. It could have been sooo much worse. Unfortunately, it could have been so much better too, and with very little effort. (How many hands did the film pass through and not one of them nixed the line about "...drain all of their blood, even if it kills them"?)

It could easily have been even worse if they had gone with the original script. Thankfully they dropped Shia-Casey, made April an adult, and brought back their proper origin...more or less.

Rifftrax today released their MP3 Riff of the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. A mocking commentary by Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett of MST3K fame. Purchase and download the commentary then you follow the prompts to sync it up with your DVD/BD of the movie and enjoy.

Getting ready to watch it myself, should be lots of fun!

Full trailer. Looks stupid but kind of fun.

Yeah, that's my view (full disclosure, said that about the last one but didn't bother to see it). It's basically my childhood Turtles amped up with Michael Bay-ness in a way that kinda misses the point but looks cool. Casey Jones was fun.

 Is there such a thing as a trailer that is too much Michael Bay? Cause that trailer is every Michael Bay trope ramped up to 1000% and the kitchen sink thrown in for good measure.

But yeah, the movie looks like ridiculous, over the top, mindless fun.

I dunno. I didn't see an overuse of American flags and military hardware.

The trailer looked.... okay.

I didn't mind the first movie, though it was very, very, flawed. This one looks to be on that same level.

But, God, I hope there's a good amount of CGI clean-up in store. Beebop and Rocksteady look horrible, they look like characters out of a video-game cut-scene. Current gen, sure, but not good enough for a live-action, big-budget, movie.

Was slightly expecting to see hints at the Technodrome, Krang, etc.

But, I dunno, it doesn't look *that* bad and could be sort-of fun. Not the TMNT movie I'd want, not an ideal representation (or look) for the Turtles or other characters but, meh, like I said. The first movie was enjoyable enough.

Eric Sacks wasn't in the trailer but it looks like he's coming back. And they have a different guy playing Shredder, who we did see in the trailer.

That trailer looks hellishly fun. Really enjoyed the first movie I am definitely watching this. Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles in the same year. Heaven.

I was pleasantly shocked by the first movie. It wasn't a good movie but it had potential. This just looks like a lot of fun. My favorite turtles were the original Mirage studio turtles. My Turtle movie is the 1990 version. However watching this trailer made me grin ear to ear. It looks like a big budget version cartoon and I cant say no to that.

This looks closer to what I wanted as a kid for a sequel to the 1990 film. Than the one we actually got. Of course I am not 12 anymore and never watched the previous one yet.

Bebop and Rocksteady made this trailer for me. I'll definitely see this. I wasn't wowed by the first one, but it was certainly better than TMNT II (1991) and TMNT III (1993).

I liked that Shredder got a little more attention this trailer than in the original movie.
