Sorry, but threads such as this where one is advertising, even via kickstarter, are not permitted

I thought we didn't allow digital pan-handling links?

Besides that - that cover is pretty terrible, the characters look like they should be in a romantic novel?

Am I the only one sick of Kickstarters? MGM couldn't bother with $10,000? I don't get it. I'm thankful for the Veronica Mars movie and everything, but this and MST3000? Enough already.

^ On the one hand, I completely agree. On the other hand, I can sort of see myself donating to a Carnivàle comic book Kickstarter, even though HBO's hardly hurting for money either, so...

Never got the appeal of comics over books.

MGM doesn't give anyone money to make a tie-in comic-- the publisher gives MGM money for a license. This is their way of gathering that money in such a way that will ensure that the comics will only get made if the market exists.

Seriously.

It's certainly got a not-the-actual-people-who-made-the-show-but-some-second-or-third-tier-group-trying-to-make-some-tie-in-material vibe to it, that's for sure.
